Every time you travel with us, a small percentage is dedicated to assisting Tanzanian organizations in need.
We also continue to provide support to preserving and enhancing the Maasai culture.
These are the following organizations we are currently supporting:
Tarangire Maasai Communities
Under Chief Lobulu’s direction, we want to continue providing necessary supplies and funding. We encourage our visitors to bring lightly used children’s clothing, school supplies and bar soaps. Our current goal includes raising funds for additional classrooms in his three bomas.
Matonyok Children’s Home
Many of our visitors immediately fall in love with Emmy and Ndemno when they arrive at their home. Over many years, they have adopted numerous street children and disabled orphans. Emmy, a Maasai who left her village because she could not receive an education, is passionate about giving each of her children a loving home and a college education. Our current goal includes raising funds for completing their kitchen, dining room and providing more educational materials and scholarships.
Foundation for African Medicine and Education
FAME advances patient-centered healthcare in one of the most under-resourced areas of northern Tanzania. Starting out as a mobile clinic in 2005, FAME has grown to include a state-of-the-art hospital, laboratory and outpatient clinic with over 25,000 patient visits per year. They aspire to build healthier communities, offering access to quality medical care and resources that are needed to treat disease and save lives.
Talent is universal but opportunities are not.
And I credit this to the individuals who embrace multiculturalism, love, empathy
and compassion for others.
